Alina Ackenbom,
Director of Friendship Tennis Academy

Alina has been directing Friendship tennis programs since 1997. Alina was born in Russia where she started to play tennis at the age of 7. She competed in many Russian regional, national and international tournaments where for many years she was ranked in the top ten  in her age group.
In 1997 Alina was hired by Camp Friendship as a summer tennis director. In 2010 she launched Friendship Tennis Academy that serves many  junior and adult players all year round. Alina is certified by USPTA, she serves as a  Board member of QuickStart Of Central Virginia and volunteers on Junior Team Tennis Committee with USTA Virginia.
